 Rotary Charity Concert and

Lanson College Talent Show.

I appeared and performed a couple of songs at Launceston Rotary Club's Annual Christmas charity night, held in Launceston Town Hall on the evening of Sunday 13th December. A cover of Shaking Stevens' "Merry Christmas Everyone" went down really well with the audience, and a rousing "Happy Christmas, War Is Over" (John Lennon & Yoko Ono) performed with a choir of around 25 local children capped the evening perfectly.

In addition, I was thrilled to be asked to be the main judge on "Launceston's Got Talent", which was held at the College over 3 days in December. I tried desperately to be like Simon Cowell, but couldn't bring myself to be as nasty!!!  LOL

Help for Heroes/Acorns Gig.

I was very privileged to headline the charity gig in Newent, Gloucestershire on 3rd October 2009 and would like to thank all those who turned up to support our troops, some of whom attended were off to Afghanistan this week. Good luck to them all. The other acts, including Internationally acclaimed comedy hypnotist Jason Simons, Laura Quatro (daughter of first lady of rock, Suzi) and global selling rock artist Mark Emmins all performed brilliantly, making it a night to remember for all concerned. In addition to our troops, some of the funds were to be forwarded to another worthy cause, namely Acorns Children's Hospice in Birmingham.

Film Debut - Comedy-Horror

I attended the premiere of "Blimmin' Virus of the Damned" on Saturday 29th Aug. This is my film debut, and I have to say, I was blown away by the audience reaction to the film. I knew it was going to be good, but it turned out to be brilliant. They laughed constantly throughout the feature, and the feedback was fantastic!! I can't wait to act in a movie again!!!

Bulgarian Orphanage Charity Gig.

The charity gig on Friday 29th May in Launceston went superbly well, and it was fantastic to be able to perform alongside  so many excellent bands, singers and musicians (including the LEGENDARY Tony Butler - bassist with 80s Scottish Rock Maestros, "BIG COUNTRY"). It was for a great cause too.....In aid of sending Launceston College students to help rebuild an orphanage in Bulgaria......something in the region of £600 was raised to help towards the total cost of £7500. The current total stands at around £6000, so there's not too far to go.     Thank you to all who attended.

What an AWESOME night!!
